Unfortunately I will not be able to attend Eric's funeral, but I would wish to leave a tribute to a gentleman of this world with whom I was involved in business for forty years and who I would like to think was a good friend. We shared a love of cricket and did once play against each other - inevitably his side won and he made a telling contribution!

Eric was a lovely man - always prepared and able to help if he could and thoroughly professional in his business life and will be much missed by all.
